Position:  Program Instructor/Director for The Luke Lee Listening, Language, Learning Lab preschool program at Marshall University, a program for children who are deaf or hard of hearing and desire spoken language outcomes.  The program will utilize auditory-oral methodology.
 
Qualifications: Speech-language pathologist (CCC-S) or Audiologist (CCC-A) preferred; or educator with bachelor degree with emphasis in elementary, early, special or deaf education; or individual with bachelor's degree in related field with extensive experience with the pre-school population. Knowledge in auditory-oral methodology is not required, but must have strong desire to learn.
 
Should have strong interest in pre-school population, be willing to work as part of an interdisciplinary team, have good communication skills, independent and have good organizational skills; must be willing to travel for training in auditory oral methodologies.
 
Duties and Responsibilities: Primary responsibility will be planning and implementation of classroom based activities. Program development to include implementation of a parental-infant training program, serve as a training resource for undergraduate and graduate students in communication disorders, and act as a community resource for area professionals interested in auditory-oral methodology. Additional responsibilities include fiscal management of resources.
 
Salary: commensurate with experience.  Full benefit package. 12 month full time (37.5 hours)
