NOMINATION

Nominations are currently being accepted for the following WVSHA elected positions:

Call For Nominations The WVSHA Executive Board announces its call for nominations for the 2016 elections of officers. Those positions up for election are:

President: 2016-17 serve as president elect and 2017-18 serves as president.

Secretary- June 1,2016-May 31,2018 is responsible for taking minutes and maintaining correspondences

Treasurer- June 1, 2016 - May 31, 2018 is responsible for coordinating the financial business of the Association

Vice President Of Convention Arrangements June 1,2016-May 31,2018 is responsible for coordination of the Association's convention

Vice President of Publications and Public Relations June 1,2016-May 31,2018 is responsible for coordination of the WVSHA Web site, newsletters and promotion of The Association

Vice President of Governmental Affairs June 1,2016 - May 31, 2018 is responsible for coordination of the Governmental Affairs Committee and coordination of the WVSHA Lobbyist.

All elected members of the Executive Board are responsible for discussing and making decisions at four required Executive Board Meetings annually.

  Travel expenses for meetings are usually reimbursed. The Executive Board has been utilizing new technologies such as GoToMeetings and email voting to reduce the amount of travel time and length of Meetings.

The Executive Board has dedicated money to be used as honorariums for individuals who fill these positions and for the other officer positions for the 2015-16 budget year. The rates are President , President elect, all vice presidents $250.00 Secretary $100.00, and Treasurer $400.00 The nominations

Period will be open until March 31, 2016.

All professional members of the Association with willingness to help and work with other professionals can run for office.
